In this 2-hour master class you will be asked to listen what your mind is telling you when the body is challenged. You will be asked to listen closely to your breath. As the body moves, breath guides the way, and its resonance quiets the noise of the mind. Vinyasa can be a pathway to the soul, a means to discover silence and peace within. The union of breath and body can help navigate the obstacles presented by asana.
Join us for an energetic and engaging Vinyasa practice rooted in the tradition of Ashtanga. John will guide you through postures, starting with the fundamentals and progressing to more complex variations, ensuring accessibility for all levels.
The focus will be on working through physically challenging postures using breath, curiosity and an overall attitude of discovery. Your body and your mind can bring you places you’ve never even thought to go. Modifications and variations will be offered and embraced to accommodate and work towards more advanced postures.
